Seminary

The seminar house is central to Kilchzimmer. Here people come together to learn, research, deepen their knowledge, be creative, or simply recharge. We offer space for seminars, workshops, training courses, and groups dealing with nature, culture, or health.

The seminar room is spacious, bright, and versatile. The dining hall, catering kitchen, and several guest rooms allow for multi-day seminars as well as smaller retreats. Members of the community offer their own courses, while we also open the house to external groups and teachers who resonate with our orientation.

WHAT ALREADY EXISTS

• Functional seminar operation
• Large seminar room with 111 m² and divisible structure
• 7 single rooms, 2 double rooms, 2 triple rooms (total 17 beds)
• All rooms with bed, wardrobe, and washbasin
• Dining hall with 83 m²
• Fully equipped catering kitchen with 50 m²
• Rear house with rooms yet to be renovated

WHAT WILL BE CREATED

• Renovation and modernization of the seminar room
  (floors, lighting, partition wall, painting, sound insulation)
• Renewal of guest rooms
  (new beds, uniform furnishings, warm design)
• Renovation of dining hall and kitchen for better functionality and atmosphere
• New seminar lounge on the first floor of the main house
  (common room, kitchenette, seating)
• Expansion of the rear house into flexible utility rooms
  (seminar room, dormitory for up to 10 people, common or studio rooms)
• Establishment of suitable storage areas for material and inventory
• Expansion to a total of about 27 sleeping places
• Step-by-step development of a year-round seminar operation
