Herb Farm Amriza
The Amriza Herb Farm has been a tenant of the Seminarhaus Kilchzimmer Association since 2023 and will become a tenant of the newly formed cooperative upon acquisition of the property. As a bio-certified and biodynamic agricultural and learning enterprise, Amriza works directly on site and brings a wealth of plant knowledge, craftsmanship, and experience to Kilchzimmer.
Medicinal plants, wild herbs, and aromatic plants grow here, carefully cultivated, harvested, and processed into high-quality teas, hydrosols, essential oils, and natural care products.
Amriza is part of the regional development project 'Genuss aus Stadt und Land' (Enjoyment from City and Country), supported by the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt as well as the Federal Office for Agriculture. In this context, Amriza takes on a clear educational and awareness-raising mandate: to introduce people to sustainable plant production, processing, and herbal knowledge in a practical way.
The course offerings include workshops, guided tours, open production days, and further training on topics such as medicinal and wild plants, natural cosmetics, distillation, and the legal foundations surrounding plant-based products. It is aimed at both interested beginners and professionals.
The collaboration between Amriza and Kilchzimmer creates valuable synergies.
