About Us

WHO WE ARE

We are people who have consciously chosen this special place. We live here, we work here, and we shape Kilchzimmer together.

Currently, nine adults and four children live here. Additional living spaces are available and offer room for new people who want to become part of the community. The large apartment on the third floor is being renovated so that additional living space can be created in the future.

Our community is the foundation of the project. We share responsibility for the house, garden, seminar operations, and cultural forum, and are in lively exchange with guests, the neighborhood, and the region. Different skills, professions, and life paths enrich our living together and make Kilchzimmer an open and versatile place.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

What we live in everyday life is organizationally supported by three areas that together make up Kilchzimmer. They work closely together, complement each other, and implement the common vision in their respective fields of activity.

KILCHZIMMER COOPERATIVE

It will become the owner of the property and is responsible for housing, seminar operations, and renting to partner companies. It ensures the maintenance of the buildings, the implementation of the zoning mandate, and sustainable management.

AMRIZA GMBH

The Amriza Herb Farm is a bio-certified and biodynamic agricultural and learning enterprise. It is a tenant at Kilchzimmer, cultivates parts of the grounds, and imparts knowledge about plants, herbs, and artisanal processing.

KILCHZIMMER CULTURE FORUM

As a non-profit association, the Culture Forum promotes cultural education, events, and an open field of research around nature, culture, and community. It opens Kilchzimmer to the public and strengthens cultural life in rural areas.
